Beschreibung


Die Serie ToughNet TN-5500A von M12-Managed Ethernet Switches wurde für Bahnanwendungen wie z.B. in Schienenfahrzeugen und Bahnanlagen entwickelt. In den Switches der TN-Serie sorgen M12-Verschraubungen und andere Rundsteckverbinder für stabile und robuste elektrische Verbindungen.

Dies garantiert auch bei Umgebungseinflüssen wie z.B. Vibrationen und Erschütterungen einen zuverlässigen Betrieb. Die Ethernet Switches der Serie TN-5500-A verfügen über 8 oder 16 M12-Fast-Ethernet-Ports mit oder ohne 8 PoE-Ports (Power-over-Ethernet-Ports, kompatibel zu IEEE 802.3at/af). Die PoE-Switches sind als Stromversorgung (Power Source Equipment, PSE) klassifiziert und liefern bis zu 30 Watt Leistung pro Port. Sie können zur Versorgung von Verbrauchern (Powered Devices, PDs) eingesetzt werden, die zu IEEE 802.3at/af kompatibel sind, beispielsweise von IP-Kameras, WLAN-Access-Points und IP-Telefonen.

Darüber hinaus ermöglichen die isolierten Versorgungsspannungseingänge mit ihrem weiten Spannungsbereich von 24 bis 110 VDC nicht nur die Verwendung ein und derselben Versorgungsspannung an unterschiedlichen Standorten rund um den Globus, sondern erhöhen auch die Zuverlässigkeit Ihres Kommunikationssystems. Zudem erlauben der Betriebstemperaturbereich von -40 bis 75°C und das wasserbeständige Gehäuse in der Schutzart IP54 einen Einsatz unter schwierigen Umgebungsbedingungen.

Die Serie TN-5500A erfüllt ferner die maßgeblichen Abschnitte der EN 50155 hinsichtlich Betriebstemperatur, Versorgungsspannung, Überspannung, elektrostatischer Entladung und Vibrationen und eignet sich somit für eine Vielzahl von Industrieanwendungen.
